Democrats Outpacing Republicans in the Early Vote

A plethora of polls have been released recently, indicating a close rose for control of the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. I’ve become obsessed with watching the ebb and flow of poll results, my emotions rising and falling with the undulations.

But polls matter less at this point.  Getting our people out to vote matters now, and it looks like democrats are focused on getting their voters to the polls. See the excerpt from ABC News:

"What we're observing here is that some people have changed their behavior. They're either voting early, where they may not have done so in a past midterm election, or they're voting sooner than they would have," he said. "Those are both things that we saw in 2020, where people were not only voting by mail, and in person early at greater frequencies then they had past elections, but they were also voting earlier than they had in prior presidential elections."

Of the states that record party registration, the U.S. Elections Project shows more Democrats have voted early this cycle -- 52.3% compared to only 31.1 % of Republicans.

I have recently received my ballot in the mail.  I will be depositing my ballot in a drop box today and work to get my friends and acquaintances to vote early.  I will do my best to forget about the polls.  For we are the majority.  If we get out people to vote, then we will win.
